As a native of the Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone, Li Huiqin has witnessed its development firsthand. When she was a young student, she looked forward to helping build the Zone in any way she could.
Established in 2001, the LIXIL Manufacturing (Dalian) Corporation is a subsidiary of Japan's LIXIL Corporation and primarily focuses on the manufacturing of wooden products.
As the first employee of the Dalian company, Li Huiqin has witnessed its growth from the ground up. Over the past two decades, it has grown from a temporary workshop to a fully-fledged factory, expanding from just a few employees to over 2,000. With this, she has risen from an ordinary staff to general affairs office director. Her time with the company has become the most unforgettable experience of her life.
Li has also participated in the company's various charitable activities. Since its founding in 2001, the company has organized events such as the Employee Cultural Festival and Community Contribution Day, as well as provided financial help in the construction of three Hope Primary Schools.
In 2005, it established the Dalian Hope Project LIXIL Fund, contributing 5.58 million yuan in donations and goods so far, benefiting over 2,800 students.
She has also been deeply impressed by Jinpu New Area's efforts to create a first-class business environment.
