The Dongfeng Nissan Dalian Branch Company is located in the Dalian Free Trade Zone and stands as an important production base for Dongfeng Nissan in North China.
Covering an area of 1.32 million square meters, the Dalian company began operations in 2014, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan ($705.14 million). To date, it has produced 1.44 million finished vehicles, mainly the Nissan Qashqai and Nissan's luxury brand Infinity QX50.
In the Dalian company, automated operations have been implemented for such tasks as chassis visual inspection, front and rear windshield grabbing, conveying and assembling, significantly boosting production efficiency and improving product quality.
With the rapid growth of new media, the Dongfeng Nissan Dalian Branch Company has launched an online livestream room, allowing potential customers to learn about its manufacturing techniques and product features. The company has also partnered with travel agencies to introduce an industrial tourism model, aiming to boost its popularity. Currently, Dongfeng Nissan is also shifting towards new energy vehicles, and the product lineup at the Dalian company will be adjusted accordingly.
