The Dalian Jinpu New Area (Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone) has been officially designated as a national-level municipal industry-education consortium. This milestone was announced during a meeting held at Genertec Dalian Machine Tool Co Ltd.
Jinpu is now one of the pioneering national-level municipal industry-education consortiums in China, and the only one in Liaoning province. This recognition aims to enhance the integration of industry and education, bolstering the development of the industrial economy.
Following a thorough selection process, including application, provincial recommendation, and expert review, Jinpu secured a comprehensive ranking of five in this inaugural batch. The consortium model focuses on collaborative construction, sharing, and governance involving governments, educational institutions, enterprises, and industries.
The meeting also saw the signing of agreements for six base projects, five scientific and technological innovation projects, and five talent training projects. Attendees were briefed on the consortium’s background, functions, funding policies, and digital platforms.
