Hannah Mary Fahy, from Yorkshire in the UK, is a teacher at Hui Dir International Kindergarten in Jinpu New Area. She graduated from the History Department of the University of London in 2015. Her interest in China's rich historical and cultural heritage began when she visited China with her mother in 2010 to mark her 18th birthday. After graduating, she decided to work and live in China.
During her decade-long stay in China, Hannah has been teaching English while experiencing the country, having traveled to many places in China. When she first came to Jinpu New Area, she was deeply attracted by its scenic beauty. She describes it as not only her ideal place to settle down but also her second hometown and the most beautiful place in China.
