Jinpu registers 2,219 new market entities in Jan, up 48%

In January, Jinpu New Area saw an increase of 2,219 new market entities, up 48.73 percent year-on-year.

Of the 2,219 new market entities, there were 117 primary-industry entities, up 148.94 percent year-on-year, 175 secondary-industry entities, up 148.94 percent year-on-year, and 1,927 tertiary-industry entities, up 44.45 percent year-on-year.

New market entities in accommodation and catering services, residential services, repairs, healthcare and social work, culture, sports, and entertainment, showed significant growth, with year-on-year increases ranging from 120 percent to 180 percent.

As of the end of January, Jinping New Area had a total of 242,687 market entities, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.17 percent. The total number of enterprises reached 104,462, marking a 5.56 percent year-on-year growth. There were 8,780 enterprises in primary industry, up by 21.55 percent year-on-year; 26,112 enterprises in secondary industry, up by 6.85 percent year-on-year; and 207,795 enterprises in tertiary industry, up by 5.52 percent year-on-year.

In 2024, Jinpu New Area will focus on its primary responsibilities and core businesses, introducing more measures to streamline administration, delegate powers, reform its Comprehensive Service Windows, and leverage the role of digital technology.

Jinpu New Area will also integrate its own mobile application with the provincial "Liaoshitong" mobile application to enhance its mobile service capabilities. Using the "resident code" of the "Liaoshitong" application, people can scan a code to get access to government services. These efforts aim to further reduce paperwork and provide greater convenience to the public and enterprises.
