Dalian Binhai National Geopark, situated at the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula, is China's only national geological park along the coast, stretching 35 kilometers and boasting typical coastal erosion landforms.

Dating back to 300-900 million years ago during the Cambrian and Ordovician periods, the geological terrains, sedimentary rocks, and an abundance of ancient biological fossils have given rise to spectacular and extraordinary rock formations. Among them, the fissured rock formation known as Tortoise Shell Rock is one of only two such formations in the world. It holds the distinction of being the largest in volume, most impeccably preserved, and exhibiting the clearest cross-sectional structure. Join Jean as we delve into this geological park and embark on an exploratory journey.
