Dalian Automobile Terminal Co Ltd, situated in Jinpu New Area in Dalian, has recently launched an innovative sea-land route for transporting vehicles. This newly established route allows a smooth transition between "sea transport + rail services" right within the port area, drastically reducing the total logistics time required for shipping vehicles from East Asia to Central Asia from over 80 days to just over 20 days.

The sea-land route for vehicle transport operates on a maritime network, utilizing rail and road transportation systems to act as a crucial link for transporting vehicles from East Asia to Central Asia. The brilliance of this novel transportation model lies in its ability to facilitate seamless interchange between "sea transport + rail services" within the port area, paving the way for a transformative channel that seamlessly connects sea and land.

Dalian Automobile Terminal Co Ltd stands out as the sole roll-on/roll-off terminal company among China's coastal ports equipped with a dedicated railway line for automobile transportation within the port. The port currently boasts four dedicated railway lines, with an operational capacity of 800,000 vehicles annually.
