In the first half of the year, Jinpu New Area prioritized the construction of major projects and planned the development of 144 projects, each with an investment volume exceeding 100 million yuan. These projects boast extensive industrial supply chains and robust economic impact, achieving 90% of their annual target tasks.

The region promoted 122 newly planned projects and 178 ongoing projects. These included significant initiatives such as SKF's fourth-phase new factory and Rongke Power's all-vanadium flow battery energy storage equipment. Additionally, various cooperative ventures, including the comprehensive development and construction project of Dalian Data Valley, an industrial park in Jinpu New Area, have successfully inked agreements and established their presence in the region.

At the same time, the region placed a strong emphasis on achieving breakthroughs in industrial transformation. It formulated plans to establish a hydrogen energy industrial park within the pilot free trade zone. Several projects, including the development of fuel cell technology by Guochuang Hydrogen Technology Co Ltd and the construction of a hydrogen product research and testing center, were initiated.

The phase one project of Sinopec Dalian Hydrogen Equipment Industrial Park has been signed. Construction has commenced for six integrated energy stations by Sinopec. In addition, several projects, including the world's first hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks for car shippping and the first comprehensive energy service station in Northeast China, have initiated on-site road tests and production activities in the Dalian pilot free trade zone.

Furthermore, the introduction of an external think tank has led to the establishment of the Northeastern region's first specialized, differentiated, and innovative incubator. This initiative is designed to support the development of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in the area. Currently, such specialized and sophisticated enterprises comprise 43 percent of Dalian's overall total.
