Jinpu New Area has welcomed 2,735 newly signed-up market entities in May, showing a year-on-year growth of 2.17 percent. Among them, the number of new enterprises and self-employed households was 1,217 and 1,518 respectively.
The first five months of this year have seen 12,957 new market players in Jinpu, maintaining a steady growth, averaging about 126 new market entities per day. There were 6,150 new enterprises and 6,807 new self-employed households, both achieving year-on-year growth. The number of new foreign-funded enterprises has shown a significant increase, reaching 76, with a year-on-year growth of 28.81 percent.
The number of registered entities in primary, secondary, and tertiary industries were 488, 936, and 11,533, respectively.
As of May 2023, Jinpu New Area was home to 234,678 all types of market players, increasing by 6.33 percent from the previous year, including 101,808 enterprises, 132,244 self-employed households and 626 professional cooperative agencies for farmers, reporting year-on-year increases of 7.58 percent, 5.41 percent, and 2.79 percent, respectively.
