The route is another Asian regional route following the establishment of the new Southeast Asia route, PERTIWI, by MSC in 2022.

The route plans to deploy six 2,500TEU-3,500TEU container vessels that will call at major ports of RCEP member countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia, and provide direct shipping services from Dalian Port to Semarang Port, the third largest port in Indonesia.

According to Liaoning Port Group, the route covers a wide region and effectively alleviates the weight restrictions for customers in the northeastern hinterland, which improves the circulation efficiency of goods such as fruits, rubber, chemicals and minerals between the northeastern hinterland of China and Southeast Asia.

It enhances the maritime trade connectivity of Dalian Port with Southeast Asia and injects new vitality into regional economic and trade exchanges.
