A ship "HMM Ying Sai Da" entered Dalian Container Terminal of Liaoning Port Group for loading and discharging as scheduled on May 28, marking the opening of Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) Vietnam-Thailand Line of Liaoning Port Group.
The HMM is one of leading global shipping and logistics companies. With over 100 vessels, it has operated about 60 international shipping lines and made its presence in 110 countries.
The newly opened HMM Vietnam-Thailand line is the third shipping route operated by the HMM in collaboration with Liaoning Port Group to link Dalian Port with Southeast Asian countries, which include Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand as well as other member states of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement.
The opening of the shipping route will further consolidate the network of Liaoning Port Group in Southeast Asia, become a new option for the fast transportation of fruits, chemical products and other commodities among relevant countries, deepen economic connectivity and bolster the stability and resilience of industrial and supply chains in the whole region.
Dalian Port Container Terminal Co., Ltd has fully leveraged its hard and soft facilities and rolled out customized service plans to meet diversified demands of customers and ensure smooth operation of the shipping route. It received high acclaim from business partners in the smooth and efficient handling of nearly 700 containers for the "HMM Ying Sai Da" ship.
