In the first quarter of this year, Dalian customs helped foreign trade enterprises save over 88 million yuan through tax exemptions and reduction, a year-on-year increase of 25 percent.
TDK China Co Ltd recently obtained approval for tax exemptions and deductions on production equipment from Dalian Customs in just 20 minutes. The company has enjoyed tax exemptions and reductions amounting to over 1.1 million yuan ($155,703) in the past month.
This year, Dalian Customs has further deepened the reforms of streamlining administration, delegating power, and optimizing services. The approval procedures for tax exemptions and deductions, as well as the application materials, have been reduced by over 50 percent through online channels.
Meanwhile, Dalian Customs has released guidelines on the new tax exemption and reduction policies, and offered professional guidance to over 400 enterprises.
Dalian Customs is taking further steps to implement more precise assistance measures to ensure the effective implementation of favorable national taxation policies, so as to reduce operating costs and enhance the efficiency of foreign trade enterprises and advance the high-quality development of the foreign trade sector.
