Sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province and hosted by the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Jinpu New Area Administrative Committee, the Liaoning-Japan economic and trade communication promotion meeting under the RCEP agreement was held in Osaka, Japan, on December 23. It was the first economic and trade communication promotion meeting held overseas by Dalian in the last three years, and attracted the participation of many enterprises.
Jinpu New Area introduced its RCEP international business district and Dalian free trade zone's special support policies. Participating enterprises showed strong interest in the economic development and policy advantages of Jinpu New Area and expressed their willingness to conduct on-site investigations. Contract signing ceremony for ten projects, including of the Overseas Tale (Dalian) Operation Management and Tungsheng Group, was held on site with a total trading value of 920 million yuan ($135.65 million).
Thanks to the meeting, enterprises of Jinpu New Area expanded their businesses in Japan, many reaching cooperation intention agreements with Japanese enterprises that reached 28 million yuan in total value.
