As of May 31, the shipment volume by Liaoning Port Group of Japanese commercial vehicles had reached nearly 3,900 units, a year-on-year increase of over 140 percent, almost equal its total shipment volume last year.

Playing an important role in connecting East and Central Asia, Liaoning Port Group has been conducting a transshipment project for Japanese commercial vehicles since the end of January 2021. The launch of the project has significantly reduced the transit time and cost of commercial vehicles, of which the annual shipment volume exceeded 4,000 units in 2021.

Liaoning Port Group has also vigorously promoted the building of a sea-land passageway in the northeast region. In 2022, Dalian Automobile Terminal Co Ltd of Liaoning Port Group, which is located in Jinpu New Area, has already set new records in terms of single ship unloading volume, monthly shipment volume, and whole-process time-definite logistics. It has also advanced the stable, unimpeded, and healthy development of a sea-land passage for commercial vehicles with high-level port services.
