A ship carrying 68,000 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia recently berthed at the Dalian LNG receiving station in the Jinpu New Area.

The customs officers of Beiliang Port immediately carried out inspection, quarantine and sampling to ensure rapid customs clearance for the ship.

According to statistics, since the beginning of this year, Beiliang Port Customs has supervised two shipments of 140,000 tons of LNG imported from Russia.

The time the ships have had to spend in port has shrunk from two days to three hours and the turnover efficiency of LNG temporary storage tanks has increased by 28.6 percent.
