The 2021 Dalian International Industry Fair was launched in Dalian, Liaoning Province on May 12, attracting 600 high-end intelligent equipment enterprises from more than 30 countries and regions.
As an influential industry fair in Northeast China, the fair was themed on “innovation, cooperation and leading”. With an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, the fair hosted more than 1,000 booths, 35 percent of which being overseas brands.
Compared to previous ones, this International Industry Fair was more international. Many enterprises from Japan and South Korea, as exhibitors, participated in the fair as the two countries have close business trade relations with Dalian. Japanese exhibitors included SMC, Kyocera, Mitsubishi, Fuji, Yamaha, AIDA and more. A number of South Korean exhibitors in attendance were from famous construction machinery industries, such as Doosan, Koino and Dasin, which showcased cutting-edge technologies in machine tools, cutting tools, automation and other industrial fields.
Artificial intelligence was a big focus of the international industry fair. An anti-explosion robot, based on the collaborative robotic arm manufactured by Aubo (Beijing) Robotics Technology Co., Ltd, was debuted at the fair.
According to Wu Shuang, general manager of Aubo’s branch in Northeast China, this intelligent robot is currently the smallest and lightest anti-explosion robot in the world. It can be used in coat-spraying, and the petroleum and chemical industries, filling the gap of the collaborative robots in these fields.
Some domestic companies displayed their top products at the fair, including outer wall photovoltaic glass panels from CHN Energy, and ultra-wide-amplitude temperature-changing refrigerators from Haier.
This year, the Dalian International Industry Fair was held for the first time at the Dalian Free Trade Zone International Exhibition Convention Center. This centre, covering an area of 70,000 square meters and costing an investment of 600 million yuan, is made up of five exhibition halls with an effective exhibition area of 27,000 square meters and 1,200 booths . The center is the first exhibition convention center of Jinpu New Area.
