As a logistics hub in Northeast China, Shenyang in Liaoning province has optimized its land transport network and ensured that its customs clearance is smooth and barrier-free, local officials said.
Shenyang's commercial authorities have focused on improving the city's business environment, boosting cross-border trade and innovated to attract investment since late 2012 when the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held.
Once a major part of the country's heavy industrial hub in Northeast China, Liaoning province launched special actions earlier this year to revitalize its industries and develop a new growth engine.
Liaoning province will put more transport infrastructure on its map and improve its transport service capacity during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), to support regional economic upgrade and transformation.
Liaoning will focus its health work on disease prevention, putting equal attention on traditional Chinese and Western medicines and developing advanced healthcare, the province's health authorities said.
Despite the outbreak of COVID-19, which stopped art performers from going abroad, cross-border cultural exchanges in Liaoning province still managed to continue.
