The Canadian International School of Shenyang (CISS) established in 2017, was authorized by the headquarters of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and accredited to become an Authorized IBO Continuum World School in 2020.
The school is licensed by the Liaoning Government, accredited by the Canadian New Brunswick Ministry of Education, the International Baccalaureate Organization, and is in partnership with 3 other Canadian IBO International schools that have been in China for over 20 years and operates under the management of AKD International Inc.Accordingly, CIS Shenyang offers the Primary Years Program in Grades K-5 (PYP), Middle Years Program in Grades 6-10 (MYP) and the Diploma Program in Grades 10-12 (DP). This incredible achievement allows us to provide the internationally recognized IBO education and makes CISS the 34th IBO Continuum World School from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in all of China and the first one to offer the whole IB continuum in Liaoning Province.
IBO Continuum World Schools commit to IBO training all their staff and all their administration each year to maintain this high quality of International Education.
