A concert paying a tribute to the great German composer Beethoven was held at the Shengjing Grand Theatre in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Nov 2.
The organizers said it was also the closing session of the eight-month 2019 Shenyang Symphony Orchestra music festival, which was held for the fifth year.
Liu Sha, music director of the China National Traditional Orchestra, conducted and Yuan Jie, deputy dean of the Harbin Conservatory of Music, performed the piano solo.
The concert featured Beethoven's Coriolan Overture and Symphony No. 6 in F major.
