Shaped like a jade dragon, Liaoning Grand Theatre represents Hongshan culture, a Neolithic culture from what is now Chifeng city in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The complex consists of large and small theatres, a cinema, multi-function halls, restaurants, bars and rehearsal rooms. It hosts a range of performances, from ballet and opera to concerts and plays.
